Team spirit as well as open feedback and constantly questioning our actions represent the fundamental basis of our collaboration without losing the individuality of each team member. At marenas, everyone can voice his opinion – and will also be heard. Each employee can actively define his or her role in the team.  

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL CAREER PATH AT MARENAS LOOK LIKE?

All consultants at marenas pass through our consultant level concept; it is individually structured for each, reaching from intern to senior consultant. Both the initial classification in terms of consultant level and moving up to the next level is based on factors such as the degree of experience with different projects and clients as well as professional competence.

The consultant level concept provides each career path with a framework; however, it is not a standardized concept, which every employee has to follow in a predefined way. Based on individuality as one of our fundamental values at marenas, the concept is always adjusted to match the personal characteristics of each employee. The menu item “People at marenas” includes two of our consultants’ experiences with their present journey at marenas.

WHO IS THERE TO SUPPORT YOU AT MARENAS?

At marenas, each employee receives profound advice and support regarding his or her competence development.

The technical and methodological development within a project always takes place in close cooperation with the project leader. This includes a regular dialogue in which project-specific goals are declared for each employee and performance is assessed after a certain period of time. In every project, young consultants in particular are joined with a buddy who takes care of the onboarding process and serves as main contact person. Together with the buddy, regular reflection phases are carried out in order to quickly improve and achieve learning results.

Beyond the project work, each consultant is advised by a mentor from the marenas management level, especially regarding the long-term development within the company. In regular mentoring meetings, mentor and mentee define staff development goals in accordance with the project goals.

In addition to the company-internal development, marenas provides young consultants in particular with an external coach. This coaching aims at the personal development of each employee and can be shaped individually.
